What are Fertilizer Rust Stains?  These stains occur when fertilizer pellets are not proper sweep away and when it rains or sprinklers are activated these pellets bleed on the concrete creating small rust stains scattered all over. What are Battery Acid Rust Stains? Usually orange in color, these stains are actually an acid burn onto the concrete. These stains appear to be rust because they have the same color most times but are very different and often require extra attention. Occasionally the damage gets so severe that they become white stain, which can not be removed by any type of cleaning. Beware of acid based chemicals from retail stores, these chemicals will only mask the problem and create more damage to your concrete.
